How to quarantine new plants?

So I've read that new plants should be quarantined for 60 days prior to keeping them with other plants. If I am unsure of their fertilizer usage, is there anything additional I would need to do before introducing the plant to frogs?

That guide is a good starting point, but it doesn't address pesticide usage. Fertilizers won't be harmful, but pesticides could be ingested by the CUC and then indirectly by the frogs - the risk of this is probably low, but you might want to wait a while for a systemic to leave the plant's system, or ask the vendor about pesticides if possible.

edit: I see they've updated it with a collapsed note regarding pesticides, which is worth expanding and reading as well.

I'm not really sure to be honest. I just bought some bromilliads from a shop I found on Etsy, I haven't asked yet what they were using on then if anything but I will. I do not have any other plants and I do not have any frogs. But I had planned on getting more plants in December, and then a frog in March. I just want to make sure the plants are safe before introducing them to a frog.
