Is misting a requirement if humidity levels are being maintained?

I've had my tank for around a year and I've noticed that I can go a decent amount of time without misting and humidity levels stay appropriately safe.

I have a vent at the front of the tank and also at the top, so I'm not sealing my tank entirely.

After I give my tank a good soaking, it will go up to around 100% humidity and slowly drop over the course of a week or two down to around 80% and stabilize there. At this point, I honestly mist to keep the plants alive, but should I be misting more often?

Is there a physiological need for the frogs to experience occasional showers?

The tank definitely dries out in-between misting. Honestly, within 4 hours of misting, all the water on the leaves and plants have dried off most of the way.
I've attached a picture of my tank along with the type of tank I have. It has vents at the front and a half of the back space is opened up with a mesh.

Edit: And yes, I do have a water feature in my tank. I know the prevailing opinion of this board regarding water feature for their Dendrobates. I do not raise Dendrobates.
