The other day i was spraying my aquarium and i noticed like 3 or 4 of these little worm type things and i noticed an adult slug...........Is that what these worms are if so are they dangerous for an aquarium?

All help will be appreciated

The slugs i would be concerned about, and i would remove them as quickly as possible. The worms on the otherhand, we need more details on what they look like.

If they are long, white, and look as if they are belly dancing from the soil are white or grindel worms. A common addition to an established tank. They are harmless.

Why are the slugs such i problem i was just wondering, my cousin said he has slugs in his and they dont do anything because all they do is sit under the moss where the frogs dont go, at least thats where mine go.

The slugs are not a problem creature to viv or the frogs, they are however a problem if you ever planned on breeding any frogs in there. Slugs have been known to ravage and eat frog eggs. So if you want to plan for the future pluck the slugs! Earlier the better as slugs tend to reproduce quickly in the environments we keep in our tanks.

I wanted to keep this aquarium for a while and breed in like 7 months but i cant find the little slugs now and i dont know what to do. I'm thinking about biulind a new one with new dirt but the same moss after i clean it out and stuff because im getting another inferalanis. I mean the aquariums big enough for 2 but idk what to do the slugs probably already multiplied and are all in the dirt by now. Some advice would be helpful.
