Hello,
I was wondering which rope material to avoid when building vines. It will be in a very humid environment and I don't want any molding.
I know that polypropylene rope is good and Cotton is bad.
Is Nylon rope ok to use? Any other materials I should be away of to avoid ?

Thanks

I don't see why nylon wouldn't work. I tried making some vines with extra nylon ski rope, but I didn't like the way they turned out.
This method of using burlap looks really nice though:

Thanks. I've seen the burlap methods but i've never seen people use it while it was constantly wet. I just want to make sure it wont break down or mold. I will be covering it with epoxy so I think this will add another layer of protection. I think I might stick with Nylon. Burlap seems to be to much work.
