I was wondering which dart frog I should get. D. azureus, D.auratus, or D.leucomelas? which one is easier to care for? or just plane out of liking(i'd prefer to get a easier species, though)?

All three are good starters. Go by which one catches your eye most. Leucs and Auratus can be kept in groups, but Azureus are very eye catching. Have fun.

Start with Azureus, make a smaller viv & take a pair. After you managed to understand all procs & cons make a new viv, bigger one for Leucomelas group. First can be decided as trainer, second could be masterpiece. This hobby is addictive, soon you'll find yourself making a lot vivs :D There is alvays one more frog we want to have ;)

thx. I really have to try hard to only stick with one viv because I have a limited amount of space and a small amount of money reserved for darts and cages.

a tall 15 gallon live planted viv. I know this is a small tank but I would not get any more then two, which is why I want to get D. azureus.
