What programs do people use to resize there pics for avatars and such. I have Adobe Photoshop 2.0 but can not figure it out. thanks josh

i downloaded FastStone PhotoResizer off of download.com. Just search for picture resizer

Free photo shop program, though normally I just end up using MS paint for simple things like cropping/resizing.

i like fireworks mx, its probably a bit of an overkill for just resizing, and probably insanely expensive(gotta love student discounts!)

Also like Tad said gimp is about the best free tool you can find.

Also you can find copies of photoshop elements for a very cheap price. It has most of the features of the full photoshop, but not all.
