I've been getting this weird dark tan dust all over my ff cultures (inside and out). I can brush it off with my fingers and it seems to be effecting the ff themselves. I can post a pic if needed. All input is needed!

I spray for mites and keep the culture in a small cup that gets thoroughly sprayed with the mite spray. Is it just not effecting the mites?

I look at the "dust" under a magnifying glass. It's definitely mites.
