I have been eyeing this particular bromiliad. I was wondering how would it fare in a vivarium?

I just Googled the plant's name and clicked a few links, found this page (with the same pic of that guy holding the plant)

The point of his response was to indicate that unless you have a tank over 200 gallons, that plant isn't going to fly.

Frogs are not going to trample down any bromeliad. People need to be realistic about the plant choices they make if they want success with planted vivariums. THAT brom is too damn big. The op obviously likes the inflorescence, but that will only come from a full sized plant and not last long.
