Found this little thing growing in some humid sphagnum in a pot next to my orchid grow out section of the greenhouse. Any body know if its an orchid seedling? I've had many volunteer ferns pop up but from the research on growing orchids from seed, it seemed quite difficult and needing very specific conditions for them to grow.
I transferd the piece of sphagnum it was on into a different pot to observe it.

Congratulations! That does look like an orchid protocorm. Now you just have to wait for a while to see what you have.

Awesome!! It was in a pot with a Dryadella cristata but I've never had it bloom so well see what it turns into.
