I was wondering if Beta Carotene was as bad for frogs as vitamin A? or is it the same as it is for humans pretty much impossible to "OD" on it... (whereas humans can die from vitamin A OD).
I've been sumplementing with a mineral suplement (D3, and calcium) for my frogs but have steered clear of most the vitamin powders b/c of the vitamin A issue. Well I have a nice oppurtunity to get lots of bulk vitamin powder cheap b/c my gf works for a Healthfood comapny. I'm wondering if there are any other vitamins that could be dangerous? or are there any other supplements that could be useful? (Dusting frogs with spirulina?, bee pollen? or other flora?)
