Wow that is pretty unique. Never seen one look like that before. It almost looks like a really blue Uyama.

I sure hope he is not stunted. He crawled ootw on August 1st along with 2 others (both of which have the standard dark blue coloration with a lighter underside). They are all just over 1/2 the size of the adults which I thought was right on track for 4 months ootw. I will take some more photos in a couple days so you all can tell me what you think.

I never thought of it before, but blue jeans do have red necks. Maybe we should start calling them ********? Besides, we need more common names. It's tough pronouncing all these scientific names or names of places in Spanish. It's all Greek to me... :D

i suggest that we call this mutation "khaki". sort of like a blue jeans, but not quite as *******.

Different color, but they remind of the that freaky translucent effect on some Quinquevittatus legs.
