I have just acquired an exo terra 24 x 18 x 12. Those of you that keep trivs, Do you think this would be an acceptable viv for them. I would be putting in two maybe 3. I know that it is not very tall, but being more of a ground dweller I though it may work well.

Trivs tend to "roost" at night up high. Plus, they jump a LOT and over long distances. You're really cutting down on their ability to move around with such a short tank. Mine are in a 24" tall viv and they use a lot of it.

I agree with all the above posts. Mine are in a 40 breeder and could use more space. Like mentioned, they will jump long distances and they are really fast. The more room the better. 12" is way too short.

Well thats a shame. I was really hoping to put that nice new exo to some use. The wife really liked the trivs we saw at a show last month and I though since it has a fair amount of floor space it would be fine for just a couple. I had my concerns with the height though.
I guess I could always use it for a grow out viv.
