I shot this video of my pumilio cauchero this morning transporting one of the tadpoles form their first batch of eggs. 3 out of 5 were fertile and are all moved to their new bromeliad homes. After I shot the video I realized they had laid another batch of eggs this morning I don't know if they are fertile but is it common for pumilio to lay 2 batches of eggs so close together? how many tadpoles can a female feed?

Yes, it's pretty normal for them to lay two or more batches. I've had up to five morph out at once and that's probably close to the most one female can care for at one time. Sometimes they leave tadpoles and never transport them. I just had one transport two of three tads and I thought they'd leave the third, but three days later they took that one off.

Great video and good luck with the froglets.
