hey guys, just wondering if you have any tips on catching and transferring dart frogs to new tanks

I guess it depends on the size/type of frog you're attempting to catch and transfer. I've seen some guys use a piece of plastic tubing about an inch in diameter and several inches long. That would work especially well for smaller frogs, like thumbnails and such. I usually use a deli cup as a catch cup for tincs or other larger species.

Same here...I use deli cups for larger frogs and shot glasses for smaller ones (esp. froglets). Just make sure they are clean and don't have any soap/bleach in them...

A friend turned me on to using glass cigar tubes... work great for thumbs! You can get them cheap on eBay, just make sure and wash them.

Wide test tubes work well for thumbs as well

I use a plastic tube about 1 1/4 inch diameter and about 3 inches long to catch mine works great just put in over them and they jump right in
