i've been looking for someone with a decent amount of experience with tincs, as i'm planning on getting 2-3 for my first frogs and have ordered a 16'' cube viv (approx. 18 gallons) but i'm thinking of getting a 19'' cube instead (approx. 29 gallons) so i can properly house 3 tincs in it. I've heard that they are on the aggressive side of the scale, would there be problems if i were to get 3 tincs in the 16'' cube? if so would they fair better in the 19'' cube? or should i just stick with a pair in the 16'' cube? thanks for any help or info.

I raised 4 azureus (similar to tincs) almostly to full maturity in a 10 gallon tank before I placed them in a 16" cube for any last bit of growing. Ultimately, I will pare that down to house a breeding couple per 16" cube. The main thing to keep in mind is the four froglets were raised together, which kept any fighting down to nil. Plus it was heavily planted and the frogs were abundantly fed.

Where are you getting your 16" cube? I just ordered 6 with another 3 in mind from Paul at FCA. He makes top notch vivariums, not to mention 10 gallon vert inserts! If you haven't ordered your cubes, you ought to look into FCA. http://www.firstclassaquatics.com
