Hey Brian, I'm not trying to call you out and I mean no disrespect or anything, but have you actually tried to program different outlets to different times to make sure that is how it works?

The only reason I am doubtful is I have a couple cheap single outlet timers with the exact same display set up, and the 1, 2. 3 etc are to set multiple on off times per day or different on off times on different days. I use one to control an ultrasonic humidifier I have it set to run for M,W,F 3 times a day for 3 minutes each time. T, Th, Sat 2 x a day for 5 min, and Sunday 2 x a day for 20 min (Sunday is cloudy day, lights are on less too).

I'm really hoping you are right and I am being paranoid. I've been looking for a simple cheap method of controlling outlets that doesn't involve reef timers or arduinos or anything, and this would be perfect ( I can use one of these strips to control cloudy Sunday viv, instead of 3 single outlet timers hogging up all of an 8 outlet power strip).

Thank you for posting these any which way, This is still cheaper than buying a good timer and power strip separately.

No worries ! And no, I have them set to all the same time, as I'm not running anything too fancy. I can try to program a couple outlets today to test it out.

Edit: Chris, it looks you are right, sad to say ! All along I thought it was programming the individual outlets when it actually is just setting different timing programs (up to 6). Nuts, well sorry to get hopes up everyone, but I REALLY thought that was it. I should have triple-checked. For the price ($10 bucks or so online w/ free shipping), they make a nice all purpose timer with multiple plugs that need turned on/off at the same time, but not for individual outlets. Feel like a doofus now ! :(

REALLY!!! As much of a stink I made about these being individually controllable......

Well, I'm gonna send out an email to the manufacturer of the other power strip and see what it will take for me to be able to offer these in the U.S.

i woulda made cash bets that's what they were, but I didnt use/try it out because I didnt need to...but yeah still good for multiple plugs that need on/off at the same time. Well, now I know ! Works great in cases like mine, but does not really help you much. Best of luck with your search

Doesn't grimm have something like this for his tank?
Yes GRIMM has this one Aquarium Digital PROGRAMMABLE TIMER Wave Maker/Light

I also bought one from them and I love it. One outlet is always on the other 5 can be set individually to up to 6 on and off times per day. Very simple to set up but you do need to wait for the time to cycle for them to work. Not a big deal for me just a FYI.

My very first post has the link to the same timer Grimm has but it's $50 plus another $30 to ship it to the U.S. I'm not paying almost $100 for a timer. I'll just use all my single timers and plug them into these nice new power strips I just bought;)

I'm still gonna try and talk to the manufacturer about offering these in the states.
