[Dartolution]

Can anyone tell me if this species is safe to use in a viv?

I'm imagining it is fine, just wanted to check.

I recently found some while visting south florida, looked it up, realized it wasnt endangered or illegal to collect and brought back a small half dollar sized ball.

safe? yes, but they should be cleaned before introducing them to the viv.

keeping them alive is another story...

5-10% bleach solution for 10 minutes?

I know they like dryer climates, so i figure, plant near the top of the viv.

I don't think this one will do well in a viv. I've only been able to keep two alive over many attempts. I mounted them outside and have never watered them. They grow and bloom well.
