This was purchased from a local greenhouse as generic tillandsia. Can anyone help with a more specific id?

It's tough to tell some Tillandsias apart... Especially without reference of size.

A *rough* guess would be Tillandsia caput medusae. It's common & it's body looks very similar.

Just wanted to add some advice... make sure that thing dries out really well before it gets water again. They rot pretty easily from over watering.
