Thrips

I found some thrips on a ficus tree in my front yard(hundreds!) and was wondering if they could be fed to darts. They are same size as ff's, and some even smaller.

Some types of thrips can eat plants.

Yeah, but i'd keep an eye on em, and make sure they were eaten. Plus they wouldnt be hard to get rid of.

Have you try em? Do the frogs eat em?

Nope, i want to, but not till i find out if its safe. Does anyone know where i could find out about bugs? Also they are on a ficus wich i here is toxic. So i'd try to culture them on some milkweed or something.
