I think his real name is scooter, but last time I contacted him a few weeks ago ants got his cultures and he was all out of termites.

you could go find a pice of wood in a non contaminated area. the problem with termites that i see is this...... if they somehow manage to get loose you could have a seriuos issue. If they were to colonize you could lose your house. but its up to you. i prefer things that wont eat my house.

It depends on what kind of termite they are. Termites feed on damp or dry rotten wood. The treated lumber of decks and houses is unappetizing to them, unless you have moisture problems with your house. Also, only a few species can reproduce without a queen. On the off chance you do get a queen in your order, just keep them in a secure plastic box in a dry area, and they will dry out and die if they happen to escape.
