If you look at them with the right lighting, you should see that the tadpoles are seperated by a membrane within the larger envelope. As long as that envelope is there they aren't true twins.. It is more common than you would think. It was discussed at least once before (see http://www.dendroboard.com/forum/me...37-monozygotic-green-black-auratus-twins.html

It is a little different with double yolked chicken eggs are those are both within the specific membranes.
