Just wondering what everyone uses for vitamin dust, I read something the other day (I think it was on Patrick's websight) that some suppliments don't do a dang bit of good for darts and now I'm paraniod that mine is no good.

I use Rep-Cal calcium powder and Herpivite.
I have never ran into problems using these so will stick with them.

Scootch over make room for four! But I think many if not most of us use the same mix. It's good, cheap, readily available!

I've used the dendrocare before, but not exclusively.

For one reason or another, I have a lot of suppliments lying around. I just use whatever's closest when I'm doing my dusting. Sometimes it's Dendrocare, sometimes it's Rep-Cal/Herptivite, and sometimes it's just plain Rep-Cal, and sometimes it's Sticky Tongue Farms Miner-All. Switching around doesn't seem to hurt the frogs at all.

what do you guys think about adding the suppliments to fruit fly medium? do you believe that gutloading does much of anything? I dont have much faith in it so I dust my food anyways. But maybe someone knows of a study? The theory sounds reasonable. I mean its not like all the food gets ate before the dust fall off but I still have doubts that gutloading is the answer to an easy way out of dusting yourself.

From what I've read, adding suppliments to FF media lowers FF production. Never tried it myself, but that's what I've heard here.
