Hi everyone,

I've long had a terrarium for growing some special types of plants and I figured, as the temperature and humidity are well-controlled, that I could put some frogs in there.

Now the temperatures during the day are between 21-26 degrees during the day (summer closer to 26, winter closer to 21) and between 13 and 15 degrees during night, humidity is always between 70 and 90%. The terrarium is 100cm wide, 80cm high and 50cm deep.

I was looking into ranitomeya, dendrobates and mantella species, but I was not sure whether they would tolerate the lower nighttime temperatures. I saw that in some caresheets they mention that highland morphs of certain species can tolerate cooler temperatures. Is this possible, and if not, I'm open for other suggestions (preferably diurnal frogs).

Thanks,
Johan

Curious what plants you are growing in those highland conditions. Nepenthes and heliamphora?

There are orchids, tillandsia's, bromelia's, antferns and some Nepenthes in there ;)
