I've been patiently observing the four clutches of eggs laid on the front glass of my imitator tank. Last night one entire clutch of four eggs disappeared  . As far as I can tell, small slugs (less than 1") come out at night and crawl around...any possibility the slug(s) got the eggs? Anyone with similar experiences ?
Provided they were the culprit, what does the collective wisdom of this board suggest to rid the tank of these slugs without creating a hazard to the frogs? I'm familiar with slugs in the garden--use diatomaceous earth to "slice up" the slugs or sink beer traps for them to drown in.

How far along in development were the tads? They may have hatched, and the parents may have depostied them in a water source.

Considered that , but the eggs had just begun to look "tadpole-like".
