I don't know how many of you guys have heard of simple green, but it is a NON-toxic biodegradable cleaner. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with this stuff or if not, if you think it would be safe to clean the glass on the inside of a viv?

non-toxic... hmmm
personally, i would still be VERY careful.
If something is considered safe with humans,
just keep in mind humans are not tiny little frogs that absorb things through their skin.
I say that with 30+ years of animal experience & because I care.:)

I have the exact product at home, and have used it on all my tanks for the innitial cleaning. All my frogs are still alive and kicking. People worry too much about stuff like this imo Just rinse the tank out several times with hot water and you are good to go. If you accidentaly missed a tiny drop, 99% of it biodegrades.

I don't think he is talking about initial cleaning but a active viv with frogs....Yea initial cleaning it would be cool no issues, but with frogs in the viv why risk it when there is natural products like lemon that will just fine and is harmless....Atleast that is the way I read it, it was with frogs in the viv....Maybe not?
