Silicone smudges

I used rubbing alcohol on a paper towel to get some of mine off.

Brand new razor blades do the trick once cured. They work so well finger prints can even be removed in a single pass.

Okay I tried acetone and it worked but alot of it is really close to the silicone so I'll just use the razor once it dries. Thanks everyone.

don't use utility knife razor blades though. Use the single edge smaller and thinner blades for scrapers and stuff instead. They flex a little bit and get a lot more silicone than the utility knife blades.

While wet I'd prefer denatured alcohol and a paper towel followed by a razor blade and then a wipe of denatured alcohol (acetone works great too, but is bad to inhale and tends to digest plastics). If it is cured on glass, it may be essentially impossible to completely remove silicone haze, but a good new razor blade will remove any surface silicone and denatured alcohol will help remove the residue. For complete removal of cured silicone, nothing short of an industrial silicone digester like Dicone will totally wipe it out.
