I speculate that sexing an adult Regina is identical to other tinctorius morphs. I have an adult, however, that has toe pads resembling a male's, but the size of this animal leads me to believe it is a female.

Does anyone here have experience with Reginas that can offer some advice. I would like to place a wanted ad to complete a pair, but am not quite sure what I need.

Thanks for any help in advance.

If you have a confirmed female from another group, throw her in there and watch the behavior. I just recently did this to a supposed pair I purchased and as soon as I did both Regina started calling and displaying male courting.........it left no doubt as to what I had. If you have a female for sale I am looking for one. Let me know.

Also remember that reginas are a very large dart frog and an adult male may get as big if not bigger than many females of other species.
