Anyone have any tips on how to separate live pinheads from the dead ones? I don't want to throw away pinheads, but there's a pile of junk and the crickets seems to be all in it. Some are in the eggcrates and tp tubes, but the rest stay in the "dead" pile.

separating pins

what i do is take the whole thing minus the "water dish" and minus the " food dish" and dump them in a plastic " kritter keeper" then put the kritter keeper angled over my container that the pins came from and most of them will just crawl into the container. the sheds say pretty much in the "keeper" that you dump the whole bunch in.
hope i made sense.

Cover them with a new egg crate (?), pin head would normally hid underneath. Wait a while and just move the egg crate to a new container.
