Is there a way to remove the water stains (light) with the frogs in the tank? It's one thats been planted for about a year but for the first month or so I used treated tap water, I have since switched to distilled. I was thinking of a viniger/water mix and a sponge.....

Have you just tried going over it with the distilled water and a paper towel? I don't think you need any chemicals if they are just light stains.

Matthew,

Great to hear. I would not hesitate to use vinegar and water on an enclosure to clean mineral deposits left by hard water but would feel a bit twitchy about using that in a tank with frogs. I would worry about irritation to the frogs' skin. However, I suspect it's okay provided one is doing spot clean up and being careful to ventilate the terrarium while doing the cleaning.
