Good day all,

Me and my girlfriend have a biopod aqua with 3 (6 month old) red eyed tree frogs in it. There are also blue eyed spotted rainbow fish and neocardina shrimp in the water...
We have noticed that 3 of the 6 fish over the last couple weeks have dissapeared... no bodies no sign of a struggle... lol

we saw one of her frogs staring into the water this evening while hunting and we know at least one of the frogs regularly jumps into the water.

it then dawned on us... is the frog eating the very small fish...???
I cant find anywhere, anything saying they have witnessed a red eyed tree frog eating fish... we know they are known to eat smaller frogs if given the opportunity.

does anyone know of this behaviour... is this a possibility??

I'd be surprised if this were the case. Pseudomugil rainbows do jump out occasionally, any chance it jumped out and landed in some leaf litter?
