Not to derail the conversation too far from benedicta, but auratus have been observed transporting tadpoles as high as 50m up according to Dendrobates.org

I was going to say: 40 meters is reasonable. Only 'Mericans use feet and there's not that many left down south to confuse the measurement; after the wall and whatnot.
