sorry i know this has been posted before but i can't find the thread. how long do you wait after adding silicone to add your frogs? i used some silicone to adhere a new backround to a tank. that was about 48 hours ago. i sealed the tank for a couple hours and when i opened it i don't think i smelled silicone. there was a smell, but i'm pretty sure it was just a normal tank smell. is it ok to put the frogs back in?

I take it you just did some repair work on an already in use viv?
If you have your frogs in a safe place (i.e. a shoe box) why not be safe, and let it go another 2 days with the viv open to air it out. It can't hurt.

i agree. i usually let the silicone dry for 3-4 min. its prolly safe to go 48 hours with silicone that is directly exposed to air, but when we trap it behind a background or under rocks etc. i think its best to give it an extra 48 with as much air flow as possible.
