We have a crack in our tub and the apartment complex has a company coming tomorrow to repair it. They maintenance guy said they have to sand it and coat the tub with a chemical that is strong. My question is would it be better for me to take all my frogs out of their tanks and bring them to a friends house or just cover the tanks with drop cloths and sheets.? Just seeing what everyone thinks.

If you have a separate room, perhaps using a window insulating kit across the door would be adequate precaution?

It probably depends a lot on the chemical in question.

Just seal the vivs for the duration, and when the smell is gone go back to normal.

In addition to sealing the tank I would throw a towel over it so chemicals don't settle on the tank the close th door to that room and shove a towel under the door to keep as may chemical fumes out of the room.
