I'm going to be getting 4 blue auratus for my 29 gallon tank but want to keep them in a quarentine tank as they'll still be very young when i get them. My question is can i keep all 4 in a 10 gallon or would i be better off seperating them into pairs into say 2 5 gallon tanks or 1 per 5 gallon or 2.5 gallon aquarium?

I chose to keep 2 in one 10, and 2 in another. They were 2-3 months when I got them. I am going to pair them off soon. When all four were in a 10, I noticed two out all of the time, and two hiding in the cocohut. When I seperated them, both sets were out more. They still do hide, like most blue auratus.
