turn blue frogs purple is easy

I got pics of purple azureus from Canada in the late 80s that were more purple than blue. Luckily it was from a friend so when I inquired about purchasing some he let me in on his experiment. He just added cayenne pepper to the fruitfly media and over time the frogs turned purple. It makes sense when I remember art class mixing red and blue to create purple.

Just don't buy purple frogs.

THe pictures were not digital, remember this was more than 10 years ago, when you took your film to the little kodak booth and picked up a few days later. NO email either they came by "snail" mail.

I dust with paprika, to all my frogs with reds and oranges in them.
If you feed a frog that is yellow it will turn deeper and almost orange after a while. So beware of "new Morphs" with this. It takes a while but an easy thing to do.
