Hey guys. I'm building a 10 gallon vertical witha waterfall. So the height of the tank is 20 inches or so. So what pump would you reccomend for this tank? The previous one I had epically failed so I'm not gonna get that one again. The Zoo-Med ones or another brand?

Pond Pumps, Pond Liner, Pond Kits, Pond Supplies is where I ordered mine. It was a via aqua but I don't remember the size--but it was a small one.

it might be a bit overkill, but i find these pumps to be the best for ALL of the vivs I build... the thing is, they re not more expensive!!

Yeah. The ones from the online store look a little to big. What size tubing does the 404 use? 1/2? 1/8?

1/2 along with adjustable flow makes it for pumps that RARELY if ever fail to me
all my false bottom are sealed too so it helps

Look at fluval powerhead not sure size but it was 25.00 at the local tropical fish store it comes with parts to convert to pump instead of its conventional water spout srt up head hight around 36"

iF you live near a home depot, they have some nice ones i've used for 10~30$, i picked mine up for 18.


remember to put something watertight in the front, LOL.
