I use polyurethan coat in all my tanks without problems. Polyurethan coat canbe toxic at the beginning so you have to build your background few weeks before to install the frogs...

I hope we are talking about the same thing jhupp, its a coating for woods n such. polyurethane is made by minwax.

No, the Minwax stuff just won't hold up. There are lots of different polys out there. The stuff he was useing is a moisture cure poly designed for coating koi ponds, and I haven't been able to find it in the US.

Hi,

I use polyurethan coat because it's shipper than epoxy coat...
But if you don't find it in the USA, it could be more easy to use epoxy coat.. :wink:
