I am looking for a product but I do not know the name of it and thus am having trouble finding it. It is s small "latch" it is just a screw going through a raindrop shaped piece of plastic. I know some people use them on their frog tanks to keep the lid closed (especially plastic lids that bend). They are like the latches that keep your tray table in the upright position on an airplane.

name of the item and a source?

thanks

I think they are sold as latches to hold screens in place. I ge them at lowes in bags of 10 in the screen accessory section. If you can't find them, let me know how many you need and I'll bring some to frog day

I agree Matt, sounds a lot like a screen clip. Look in the window hardware section at Lowe's.
