Hey all,
Anyone know what this plant is? I got it without an ID, I kind of thought it was Ficus benjamina, but it has these weird reverse catkin-like projections and the stems are not woody at all. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Sure looks like a Pepperomia to me, or maybe some sort of Urticaceae.
Thanks for the quick response. The stems are very similar to another type of Pepperomia I have (another NOID though). The leaves look quite similar as well (except for shape that is). Aren't Pileas in Urticaceae? Maybe it could be a Pilea?
What is throwing me off is the leafless stemlike projections, two are clearly visible in the picture...1 in the center towards the left and another to the right of that going under a leaf. Are these common features of Peps?
