The reason I posted this here instead of "Other Amphibians" was due to the general similiarities... I have a group of Pseudacris(Thanks Ed!) crucifer tads in a very aged aquarium. Most are swimming around freely now after 2 days. Some seem to have a gas bubble though. They will swim downward, but it is obvious they are being pulled back up. What could be causing this? There is no air bubblers, etc, no filter at all, just a ton of live plants... Is there something I could do to help them? It is a very small fraction of the total tads that exhibit this, but I would like to help if possible.
All my thanks!
