Inspired by Ray I figured it was time I showed photos of some of the frogs that I saw while I was in panama this summer

All frogs these frogs are from isla Bastimentos

Thanks, yes I was on vacation I spent 3 weeks all over panama during the summer

They were located on a trail on the northeast side of the island

the frogs I found on solarte were in areas of thick leaf litter but where these frogs where was mud and tons of coconut husks

Thanks John. Were all the bastis you saw on that trail the same deep orange color?
I'm just trying to co-oberate some things I have heard about mixing the deep orange bastis with light colored(gold dust, yellow, white, pale orange) frogs.

I saw a range of colors in that population. Even though it was close to red frog beach I saw some paler in color individuals also.

We're they hard to find? Did you have to spend much time before you were able to find em?

Haha true! although one of the guys I was with must have walked by at least 10 of them and not seen a single one, I guess if you aren't looking you might not see them. But once you find them they seem to be all over!
