With my first build, I was so excited and eager to get my viv built even though I waited 4 months before buying the frogs. I did research and ask a lot of questions. After nearly a year it still looks pretty good.
Plant placement could have been better but the frogs seem to like it as there is a lot of places to retreat to in a pinch and they seem pretty happy.

Now I think it is time to start on my second vivarium. I have learned from past mistakes such as plant placement and since this tank is smaller than the 80 gals I'll need to be more space-conscious with planting.
I am hoping to chronicle it throughout the build as I hope to gain more knowledge from everyone along the way.

I have already cleaned the inside glass with a vinegar-water solution. (Stinky stuff)
Most likely I'll give it another once-over before I start the hardscape.
I have the false bottom built and the drain /siphone. Next is attaching the fabric over the egg crate.
GS, cork flats and tubes, and Mopani. I'll probably use a lot of clippings from my current build.

Brown Wood Organism Plant Tree

This is what I have so far.
It looks a bit rough and I'm hoping to start the clean up tonight.

As always, I'm open to suggestions for improvement.

What species of frogs are you planning to get? That will drive the feedback you get :)
That is true, but before I list the ones I would like to keep the measurements are: 18"(DEEP) X24" (TALL) X36"(LONG). I'm thinking either a pair of Azureus, Costa Rican Green and Black, Turquoise and Bronze Auratus, or a pair or three of Ranitomeya Vanzolini.
I plan on using more epiphyte than soil plated plants to allow more 'floor-space'.
So, those are the plans as of this moment.
with the frogs that are listed which would be the goodest ones?

Updated photos.

I think there might be too many vines?
Tomorrow I'll start carving the foam and adding some to the left & right sides of glass.

@fishingguy12345

I do remember seeing this thread. It was very cool. I like that thick-wavey (squiggle) piece at the front right.

Your build consists of vertical vines and wood pieces, which I think is more functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Mine just doesn't seem as nice as yours or other's. Mine looks like a cot got tangled in yarn.
I guess time will tell. Maybe it won't looks so confused and mess, one the plants are in and established.

Thanks for sharing your post with me.
