your tank is a 20L (20 gallon long)

it can work well if designed correctly. the main issue with this tank size is finding suitable plants that will remain small enough (height wise). you can pretty much forget things youd find locally (although thats almost always the case w/ truly good viv plants).

you have to remember that with 3 inches (a relatively shallow amount) of drainage and substrate, and leaf litter on top (another 1-2") your looking at only 7 inches of real useable height for plants.

some good plants would be:

trailing or low growing peperomias
violets
begonias (some smaller varieties)
