i like the cooking oil great stuff experiment. did it warp/shrink any? When i tried that with wax paper on the back of the tank, it warped so bad i couldn't use it.

another thing, did you make sure the potting soil did not contain any fertilizer? looks good tho

good to hear. If the soil mix you have right now doesnt have good enough draining potential, ABG (atlanta botanical garden) mix is pretty popular here on the board. good luck with your grey tree frogs!
