Hello Everybody,
I decided to take my large 80 dollar exo-terra light fixture back and invested in a 36inch aquaticlife T5 HO system that turns night into day! :D I figured this would be a better option than 4 cf repti-glow bulbs producing massive heat into the tank with lower growth rates. This system sits above the large/tall exo-terra on legs and has a nice glass fitting that keeps heat at a minimum. Now you can hook two of these systems together and I am wondering if I should go with two or just stick with the one? I used to breed betta splendens and when I had to move last year I gave all my adult and juvie bettas to this aquarium store here so the owner said he would give me a discount if I decide I wanted another one. So I am just wondering if that would be overkill or a good idea. What do yall think for a viv this size?
I also found a great deal on the large exo-terra cabinet at my local pet store. It was only 50 dollars! When it originally sells for 200$. So I picked that up last weekend too and even got a better deal because I gave them 3 of my tarantulas which I also keep now. Wouldn't give away my Pokie Metallicas though. I put it together on Sunday mourning and am very happy with it. Hope to get some pictures going soon for a build thread.

The lights are mostly for the benefit of the plants in the viv. I don't think you will need more than what you have already. I have always liked to allow a good bit of shade on the viv floor. I think this is far more natural for the frogs.

Re: New Stuff! Extra qustions?

Does anybody else have any opinions on this? I seen my exact viv size where somebody used 4 bulbs instead of the two that I have now and considering this tank is really deep I think it would be wise to add the two extra bulbs.
I have the second biggest encloser for the exo-terra so let me know what you think and we can go from their. Thank you for your help!
