Well, I am on my way to consuming every inch of my apartment with tanks. I decided that the next addition would be some Dendrobates leucomelas.
I ended up picking 3 Leucs from Johnachilli(Excellent!). They are about 1-2 months oOw. They have some nice patterns and some deep orange tone.
I set them up in a little grow-out/quarantine. I have a 10 Gallon that that is ready and grown in. Seeded with springs, isos, & mites.
Im going to let them grow for a month or so.

Ill post the 10 Gallon in the day.

Hi Mordoria,

Congrats on the leucomelas. They were my first frog many yeasr ago and are still my favorites (along with the awesomeness of the D.t. azureus!) If you want to maintain/enhance the orange coloration, keep adding Superpig with their suppliments on a regular/daily basis.

hey mate,our first frogs too,ha but only a few months ago,we have a group of 5,buddy you will love keeping these,so much character,and a super call.
2 of ours have worked out that when i am checking the springtail cultures that are located under their rack that if they appear then i will,knock a couple of bits of charcoal off for them(ok I might have had a hand in this lol it would have started with their curiosity though....honest) they are adorable. I hope you have as much joy with yours as ours bring us

Beautiful patterns on those guys. Luecs were my first frogs and couldn't agree more with stu&shaz when they say character! GREAT frogs.

They look great, it is good to hear that you are happy with them. I just had four more come out of the water and found a clutch of 7 newly developing tads! They are a great frog
