I've seen it mentioned several times on this board that there are boom and bust cycles in frog popularity leading to certain morphs nearly disappearing from the hobby, with some lines only being kept going by a few dedicated keepers. What are some rare, once-common or underappreciated morphs that could use a boost in the hobby?

All ameerega.
This is a regional thing, I think.

Here in Canada (which isn't a very big country population wise) there are several (3+) people producing Ameerega bassleri "Chrome", at least 2 people breeding Ameerega pepperi "yellow gold", and one (that I know of, with another breeder I think as well) dedicated hobbiest producing trivitata, pongoensis, silverstonei.

I will agree that Ameerega are under represented in the Hobby.
