I'm looking for suggestions for good vivarium fern species that are about 10 inches tall when fully grown. Smaller ones would be good also, but I definitely want suggestions for some larger species too! Right now I have a grub fern that I really like. After shipping all the leaves died, but then it sent out tons of nice new smaller leaves. So I know that I like the grub fern and it does well in a vivarium, but what are some others?

Here's the plan for my setup; I want to have a lot of ferns around the base of the tree stump like this:

ET Ferns are nice... And a couple of nice looking ones that are more common are lemon button and rabbits foot fern.

Perhaps giving the dimensions you are working with would be a good approach--the fern you refer to using can get large...ferns are great to have--if you are going to have frogs in the viv--the weight of the frog might influence the type of fern you would use--tall, airy ferns might not have enough heft to hold a larger frog. A larger leafed fern like Harts tongue types would be...You might even go online to a "fern" specialist nursery to get ideas....good luck...

Thanks for the ideas!

Just for more background info, the tank the ferns will be going in is a 36 x 18 x 24 exo-terra, and it will be home to a small group of D. tinctorius.

I definitely plan to go online to the sponsor websites and look for myself as well, but I just wanted to see if there were any really good ferns for vivariums in case I missed them in my own search. :)
