My first froglet

My first froglet climbed out of the water today. I'm pretty excited about it. I checked on him this morning and noticed half of the tail he had left had been absorbed since yesterday. About two hours later, he was sitting in the cup, out of the water. Nice to see.

Thanks guys. I have another cup in the bin with one about to come out. I've got 5-6 more tads that should be ready for the grow-out bin over the next week or so.
Hi Jason,

Good job getting him/her out of the water (ootw). If you haven't morphed out tinctorius before, you can let him/her sit for a couple of days before giving some food. They will take springtails, but most tincs morph out ready to eat small wingless melanogasters (turkish gliders are a bit too challenging for the wee ones).

Good luck with the rest, Richard.
Thanks for the tips Richard. The one question I had was when to offer fruit flies. The grow-out bin is crawling with springs. After seeing him out of the cup and realizing how absolutely tiny he was, I realized it was probably best to let him survive on springtails for a few days.
