hey guys ive been waiting months to start a vivarium and i finally started one. i did my planning first i just wanted a basic bg then i wanted a water feature mocked it out perfectly. the background came out great carved it out just like i wanted. then the next day i started on the waterfall side and thats where things got crazy (lol so many things went wrong)........and after a lot of tearing off excess greatstuff im left with this. which im not complaining but i under estimated the exspansion of the foam and now im kinda stuck on how to rework the water feature area so any idea aon how to fix it would be greatly appriciated.

Re: my 29 gallon first viv build *UPDATE*

ok guys so this is the state of my tank as of now. still planning on a few more plants in the future but so far my plants are Neo Wee Willy, Neo Babe, Neo chiquita Linda, anubias nana (sick?), and three orchids: dendro. Aggregatum, dendro canaliculatum, and aerangis hyaloides. the substrate as of now is just charcoal, fir bark, clayballs (gallon bag 5$ at clown alley orchids for those in the houston area) with sphagnum moss. when i can im going to order some abg mix to fill one side of the tank then cover all the substrate with leaf litter.
